Mandolin Cipher demonstrations — all intervals

All intervals, simple and compound (small or large), plotted on the mandolin or tenor banjo fretboard from a single root tone, in this case from tone D#/Eb on String-One/Fret-Eight (but remember that everything is movable. Slide everything back one fret for intervals rooted on D, and slide everything up the neck one fret for intervals rooted on  E).

Two octaves of harmonic interval fingerings are shown. The two tones of any harmonic interval are meant to be played simultaneously, like a small chord, so their fingerings may be different from their counterpart melodic intervals (intervals whose tones are played in succession — one after the other or scale-wise.
